We spent a week in the Hunstanton area. Unfortuantely, we had 3 months worth of rain in 3 days which made going out and about difficult but we made the most of it.
The guy we purchased our caravan from recommended that we stay at Searles. I am glad that we did. They have great swimming facilities including a splash area with slides which Bug and Mr B loved. They also had a soft play area and children events to keep us busy during the rain we experienced during our stay.
They had a shop, a takeaway and some restaurants with evening events for adults. We really enjoyed ourselves
We went to Sea Life Hunstanton. The tickets are expensive but if you go to the Tourist Information Centre, you can buy them for far less than on the door. I was not prepared to pay for Bug as she is only 3.5 years old but her ticket was £15.95- adults were £17.95 (I did have a 2 for 1 as I was only expecting to pay for the adults). Saying that, I am happy to support the work that they do as you will see the seals that they are helping out.
Anyways, we had a lovely time here. We probably didn't spend as much time here as we could have because we didn't play with the outdoor sand pit and other bits because of the rain. We did the treasure hunt and Bug loved that.
Beaches!
The beaches here are sandy but at the top there are some pebbles. Dogs cannot go on the beaches from the cliffs to the power boat launch ramp Good Friday and 31 October.
There is a huge promenade to walk up and down with arcades and shops dotted along.
