We were down here for an entire week and it only rained once and it rained hard. Whilst our accommodation was good, it wasn't the kind of place that you would want to hang out inside all day so I started to look where we could go locally and this popped up.
It actually was a great day in the end. It is a nature researve near a nuclear power plant so don't go in the water ;). There are several routes you can take and some are very accessible. We are doing the #30dayswild so loved spotting the snails, slugs and newts we found. Also they had a bug house. So a hit with Bug!
They have a little shop and you can get some treats there. Dogs are allowed and there are toilets.
In nearby Dungeness, there is a little train (which I didn't know about) and a lighthouse that you can visit- so I will have to do that next time as Bug and I were soaked by then!
